◎ ant. lobe
∙옛날에는 acidophils 세 개의 cell type으로 구성
basophils
chromophobes
∙최근 immunocytochemistry에 의해 호르몬의 종류에 따라 구별 - 5가지 중요한 호르몬을 내는 cell type
① growth hormone (somatotrophs)
② prolactin (mammotrophs)
① ② → acidophilic
③ ACTH, MSH, endorphins, lipotropin (corticotrophs)
④ TSH (thyrotrophs)
⑤ FSH, LH (gonadotrophs)
③ ④ ⑤ → basophilic
⑥ 그 외의 한가지 cell type
: nonsecreting cell → chromophobes에 속함
⇒ 6가지 cell로 구성
Pathology
1.hyperpituitarism-endocrine system 기능 항진
